Coping with the Diversity of Engineering Studies

The IDEA Leage is an association of 5 European universities: Imperial College London, Delft Unversity, ETH Zürich, University of Aachen, and Ecole Polytechnique de Paris. The aim of IDEA League is to discuss common issues of curricula, university teaching, etc., and exchange experience in these areas in order to improve the overall quality.
The 2006 IDEA Leage Workshop, held at Imperial College London in two half-day meetings on April 25/26, was devoted to Mathematics in Engineering. There were 21 participants from all member universities, including 10 speakers. A panel discussion with 4 panellists concluded the workshop.
