Welcome to the Lectures on
Numerical Linear Algebra in
Computational Science and Engineering
September 12, 2009
ETH Zurich, Switzerland
Aims and scope:
The lectures will discuss the importance and impact of
Numerical Linear Algebra in CSE. Its usage in various areas
of CSE will be exemplified.
The event will also celebrate the retirement of Martin Gutknecht from ETH Zurich.
The speakers have been chosen among the former PhD students,
postdocs, and long-term visitors of the Interdisciplinary
Project Center for Supercomputing (1988 - 1995) and the Scientific
Section of the Swiss Center for Scientific Computing (1996 - 1998).
Invited speakers (confirmed)
