Phase Space Reduction in Chemical Kinetics

Summary:

Modelling reaction kinetics typically leads to stiff systems of high dimensions. The essential dynamics of such a system, however, takes place in low dimensional subspaces of the phase space. The goal is to find the reduced dynamics by means of invariant manifold techniques.
